Key Responsibilities
  • Lead testing strategy, planning, execution, and defect management for MDM initiatives.
  • Define and manage test cases for Informatica MDM, APIs, and ETL workflows.
  • Oversee test team deliverables and coordinate with business, developers, and data architects.
  • Validate data synchronization, data quality rules, and master record creation across domains.
  • Execute API testing using Postman and SoapUI, validating REST/SOAP endpoints and payloads.
  • Perform data validation using SQL and test data profiling techniques.
  • Test data integration workflows using Informatica PowerCenter (ETL testing).
  • Ensure traceability of requirements to test cases and validate business rules and data stewardship workflows.
  • Report defects, track resolution progress, and contribute to continuous test process improvement.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 7 years of experience in manual and data-centric testing, including at least 2 years in a Test Lead capacity.
  • Hands-on expertise with Informatica MDM testing, including base object validation, match/merge logic, and workflows.
  • Experience testing REST and SOAP APIs using Postman and/or SoapUI.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend testing.
  • Experience with Informatica PowerCenter or similar ETL tools.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, master data domains, and data quality principles.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Desirable
  • Experience in large enterprise data transformation programs.
  • Exposure to customer, product, or supplier MDM models.
  • ISTQB certification or equivalent.
