  • Casual opportunity for a Senior Second Engineer on the TSHD Brisbane at home Port of Brisbane
  • Lifestyle roster 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off

  • $99.84 p/h plus superannuation with travel allowance to cover travel to Brisbane port

Join our team as a casual Senior Second Engineer where you will carry out engineering watch keeping duties during duty periods in addition to scheduled and breakdown maintenance and housekeeping as required by the Chief Engineer.

You could be placed on either roster (typically working 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off roster) allowing you the opportunity to work alongside two highly experienced Chief Engineers who are committed to supporting your growth and success.

Skilled, technical and highly motivated team member: here's who we're looking for.

  • You hold a current qualification as AMSA Engineer watchkeeper in addition to a current AMSA certificate of Medical Fitness.
  • You have knowledge of the ISM code as it relates to Engineering and the Maintenance of the Ship and Equipment.
  • You have demonstrated commitment to safety leadership, are resilient and enjoy working within a small team environment.
  • You are driven to deliver results and take accountability for your work.
  • You can fault find and trouble shoot effectively.
  • You ideally have previous experience in dredging.
