Bank of China Sydney Branch is now seeking a highly motivated individual who has exceptional communication, administration and organisational skills to join our Financial Institution Department.

This is a Two Years Maximum Termrole, subject to review for an on-going position after contract period.

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Client Coverage Team Supports: Partner with senior team members to provide overall relationship management support, assist with day-to-day transaction activities, support senior team members in cross-selling full spectrum of FI products and services to generate revenue, complete banking system supports in operations, complete credit reports and other ad-hoc tasks required
  • AML and Compliance Management for FI: Primary responsibility on the end-to-end Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and compliance lifecycle for onboarding new FI clients and exiting existing FI clients, including KYC due diligence, ongoing periodic reviews (CDD), ad-hoc compliance reports and other AML/KYC related works
  • Management Information and Reporting Supports: Supports in FI operations, business plans, management information reports and financials reports by providing strategic analysis and presentation documents
  • Ad-hoc assignment assigned by the Department.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience, MBA or Master's Degree in Business is a plus
  • Ideally previous relevant experience in a FI or Corporate Banking related area with strong credit experience or AML/KYC compliance operation experience is a plus
  • Strong client facing and presentation skills
  • Strong data analysis and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel (e.g., PivotTables, VLOOKUP) and PowerPoint for creating reports and presentations
  • Strong problem solving skills, resilience and ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment, where multi-tasks capability in high deal volumes is expected
  • Self-initiative to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
