About the role

Are you an undergraduate engineering student with an interest in traffic management and urban infrastructure?

Join our Traffic and Transport team and gain hands-on experience in a supportive and professional environment.

Reporting to the Team Leader Traffic, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Assist with traffic surveys, data collection, and analysis
• Support the planning and implementation of traffic management solutions
• Work alongside experienced engineers to review and assess traffic impact assessments
• Help prepare traffic-related reports, presentations, and documentation
• Contribute to projects aimed at improving road safety, mobility, and sustainable transport options in Ku-ring-gai
• Participate in meetings and collaborate with other teams to ensure successful project outcomes

Qualifications, skills & experience

• Currently enrolled in the penultimate or final year of an undergraduate civil engineering degree
• Current Class C Driver's Licence
• Ability to work in a diverse team environment
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Word and Excel
