Hurricane's Grill & Bar Surfers Paradise is set to reopen with a fresh, elevated dining experience at the end of August. We are currently seeking a switched-on, dynamic Seafood (Pans) Chef de partie to join our Hurricane's family.

While our official reopening is scheduled for late August, kitchen setup and training will commence beforehand, giving you the opportunity to be part of the relaunch from the very beginning.

Required skills & attributes:

  • A minimum 2 years' experience in a similar fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly motivated, driven & energetic
  • Team player
  • Effective time management skills
  • Must be passionate about delivering high quality food, beverage & service standards
  • Flexible availability – week days/nights and weekends
  • Experience with safety procedures when using chemicals
  • Ability to enforce work health and safety practices
  • Well presented with a friendly disposition
  • Cert III or IV in commercial cookery would be advantageous
