About the role

Meat Flour Wine is seeking an experienced Section Waiter to join our dynamic team in Berwick, VIC. This part-time role is integral to providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the high standards of our renowned restaurant.

What you'll be doing

  1. Delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests
  2. Taking food and beverage orders, communicating them accurately to the kitchen and bar
  3. Providing recommendations on menu items and wine pairings
  4. Ensuring tables are set and presentation is maintained to the highest standard
  5. Handling cashiering duties and processing payments efficiently
  6. Restocking and maintaining a clean, organised work area
  7. Providing support to the wider front-of-house team as required

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 4 years' experience as a waiter or server in a high-end restaurant environment
  2. Strong knowledge of food, beverage and wine pairings
  3. Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to provide a warm, friendly dining experience
  4. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  6. A passion for hospitality and a genuine desire to exceed customer expectations
