About the role
Join our team as an Apprentice Plasterer/Gyprocker. This full-time position in Albany, WA 6330 offers the opportunity to learn and grow in the trades industry with hands-on training and mentorship.
What you'll be doing
- Assist senior plasterers with installation, repair, and finishing of internal wall and ceiling linings
- Prepare surfaces for plastering, including measuring, cutting, and fixing plasterboard
- Mix and apply plaster compounds to achieve smooth, even finishes
- Sand and texture walls and ceilings to prepare for painting
- Maintain a safe and organised work environment
- Participate in on-the-job training and complete apprenticeship requirements
What we're looking for
- Passion for the building trades and a willingness to learn
- The ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Strong work ethic
- C class drivers license
