Start date:  10th November 2025

About the position:

SkillCentred has a number of traineeship positions available for individuals wanting to gain experience in the construction industry.

  • Full-time traineeship
  • 9 day fortnight
  • 20 weeks
  • Two week break over the Christmas period

For your application to be considered you must:

  • provide your date of birth
  • provide your address
  • be 15 years of age or older
  • no longer be enrolled/attending school

Pay rates are in accordance with the National Training Wage Award and is calculated on your highest school level completed and the number of years you've been out of school.

Each trainee will be involved in community-based construction projects and will have the opportunity to gain a Certificate I in Construction qualification including white card.  This qualification is a pathway to an apprenticeship in carpentry and associated trades.
