As a result of continuous national growth, LAI Group is seeking a Procurement Expeditor to join our team at our head office in Adelaide (Ferryden Park) within our Supply Chain Management department. Schedule

Full-time

A 38-hour week (Monday – Friday + reasonable overtime).

Salary (Negotiable - Experience, knowledge, and ability will be taken into consideration).

The Position

A Procurement Expeditor at LAI will be tracking and monitoring the delivery and purchasing of goods from suppliers. This role will see the appropriate candidate provide updates on the status of purchased goods and ensure specific requirements are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track the status of purchase orders from the point of order to delivery.
  • Identify and address potential delays, quality problems, or logistical concerns.
  • Communicate with all parties involved from the point of order to delivery on any delays, concerns, or challenges.
  • Raise quality concerns with the supplier if the purchased goods are damaged or incorrect.
  • Identify solutions to overcome product order delays or any disruptions with the supply chain and communicate to all parties involved.

The Candidate

  • Written and verbal communication skills. Being able to confidently communicate with suppliers and the project team on the status of purchased goods.
  • Be proactive and have strong problem solving skills when addressing and communicating any concerns identified.
  • The ability to be well organised and manage multiple orders for multiple projects.
  • Uses time effectively.
  • Advanced use of Microsoft word, excel, outlook, etc.
  • Previous experience in a similar role in a supply chain team.
