About the role
Katoomba smash repairs' is seeking a skilled and experienced Panel Beater to join our team in Katoomba, NSW. This is a full-time permanent role, where you will play a crucial part in the day-to-day operations of our busy automotive repair workshop.
What you'll be doing
- Repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition
- Undertaking panel beating, welding, and metal fabrication work
- Removing and replacing damaged body parts
- Preparing vehicles for painting and other finishing work
- Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
- Collaborating with the wider team to deliver exceptional customer service
What we're looking for
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Panel Beater in the automotive industry
- Strong practical skills in panel beating, welding, and metal fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and repair manuals
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Current driver's licence and reliable transportation
