Mid - Senior Graphic Artist

Salary: $84k incl super

Location: Melbourne, Hybrid Onsite

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Mid-Senior Designer to join one of Australia's leading retail brands in Melbourne.

About the Role:

This role is responsible for producing cross functional marketing material, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail from brief to finished art – print and digital artwork for catalogue, press, point of sale and corporate marketing materials.

There is a need to be skilled at working autonomously and also within a team environment, and priorities own workloads in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong experience in Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and After Effects.
  • This role includes 70% digital/ 30% print based asset creation.
  • Previous experience in Retail or Agency is a MUST.

Requirements / Experience:

  • At least 4 years experience as a Graphic Artist or Finished artist.
  • Degree/Certificate in Graphic Design (preferred but not essential).
  • Proven experience working in a fast-paced design or advertising studio.
  • Advanced knowledge in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, and some experience working in After Effects.
  • Strong knowledge of current print prepress, digital production process and advertising related technical specifications.
  • Meticulous accuracy and attention to detail in producing cross functional marketing material from brief to finished art – print and digital artwork for catalogue, press, point of sale and corporate marketing.
  • Proven ability to successfully manage projects in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent presentation and communications skills.
  • Confidence in being self-aware, think on your feet, be proactive with a strong sense of initiative.
