Our Role

We are excited to offer a full-time English Teacher role beginning in Term 1, 2026. Within our English department you will find a dynamic and collaborative team working towards achieving great outcomes for our students.

Responsibilities include:

  • Deliver outstanding teaching that supports strong student learning outcomes across a variety of ability levels
  • Plan and execute learning programs that challenge all students, and effectively use technology to enhance learning
  • Possess a thorough understanding of contemporary learning approaches and demonstrate the ability to critically reflect on and improve teaching practices
  • Build positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents, fostering an environment conducive to learning and enthusiasm
  • Engage with passion in all areas of Kingswood College life
  • Uphold the values and vision of Kingswood College, contributing positively to our community

Successful applicants will:

  • Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration
  • Suitably qualified in your teaching method or methods
  • Ability to teach English across all year levels including Year 12
  • Passion for working with children and developing their learning and social skills
  • Strong organisational and planning skills, with an ability to manage multiple demands and timelines.
  • Collaborative and team focused with a growth mindset
