We are seeking Track Workers to join our team. In this hands-on role, you'll assist with the construction, maintenance and repair of rail track infrastructure, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required standards. You'll work as part of a team in a variety of environments — including remote locations and all-weather conditions — helping to keep Australia's rail network safe and operational.
Job Requirements
- Certificate II in Rail Infrastructure (or working towards completion)
- Construction Induction (White Card)
- Current Safeworking Accreditation / Track Access Permit (desirable)
- C Class Driver's Licence
- Ability to pass a CAT 3 Rail Medical Assessment
- Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening
- Strong commitment to safety and working as part of a team
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with construction, maintenance, and repair of rail track infrastructure
- Safely use hand tools, machinery and equipment as directed
- Complete pre-starts, Take 5s and report hazards or unsafe conditions
- Follow all site, client and RMC safety policies and procedures
- Work under track protection as directed by Safeworking Supervisors
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure safe operations
- Support a safety-first culture through proactive participation
- Accurately complete required paperwork and reports
