Alkalizer is a Wellness Eatery & catering services based on concept of Alkalinity and menus are designed to support healthy lifestyle and various dietary requirements.
We are located in Campbelltown NSW and open 7 days a week. We are looking for a Cook / Assistant Chef who has experience in Cafe menus
Main Tasks:

Collaborate with other chefs and the owner to design and implement menus.

Manage the scheduling and rostering of kitchen staff.

Prepare and cook all menu items and train kitchen staff on cooking techniques and recipes.

Maintain high standards of dish quality and presentation.

Develop and implement efficient cooking processes and instruct staff on these procedures.

Supervise kitchen staff to ensure all tasks are completed properly for their assigned sections.

Provide training to new kitchen staff to meet performance standards.

Ensure all workstations are properly set up with necessary ingredients and equipment.

Maintain a clean kitchen that adheres to food hygiene regulations at all times.
-
Prepare dishes according to specified requirements and ensure timely production.

Manage food production to meet demand across different service areas.
-
Monitor inventory levels and order kitchen supplies as needed.
-
Implement hygienic storage practices to minimize food wastage.
-
Address and escalate food-related concerns to management and suggest adjustments like ingredient substitutions to accommodate dietary needs (e.g., gluten-free, egg-free, halal).

Work closely with service staff to ensure dishes are served at the correct temperature.
Skills and Abilities Required

Studying / Qualified Chef/ cook - Cert III, Cert IV or higher qualification

Experience and success in a similar role & cuisine at least 2 -3 years.

Punctual and organized.
