Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Kew, VIC for an Orthopaedic Scrub/Scout Nurse. The Orthopaedic Scrub/Scout Nurse will be responsible for preparing operating rooms, ensuring sterility, providing instruments and materials to the surgeon, and maintaining a safe and efficient environment for surgery. The role also involves patient care before and after procedures, assisting with documentation, and collaborating with surgical teams to ensure high-quality care and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in sterile techniques, instrument handling, and surgical procedures specific to orthopaedics
• Strong ability in patient care, assessment, and handling surgical documentation
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
• Current registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification is a plus
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle the physical demands of the role
