About the Position:
Based at our Brisbane headquarters, the Test Engineer will be part of our dynamic Product Development team.

You will be responsible for the planning and delivery of testing and validation of electronic components and systems integrated into our automotive accessories, as well as for key final accessory products. This includes test requirements identification, testing planning, hardware/software validation, diagnostics, documenting test results, and contributing to the design and verification of electronic systems.

You will collaborate closely with the rest of the Engineering team, CAD designers, toolmakers, production, sales, and QA. You'll also communicate directly with our global customer and supplier base across OEM and Aftermarket markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute validation plans for new products and systems

  • Perform hardware, firmware, and system-level testing

  • Coordinate the completion of testing programs, encompassing internal and external testing resources and service providers

  • Analyse and document test data to verify compliance with specifications

  • Support improving the EGR product development process by identifying issues and suggesting improvements

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to implement test automation and validation tools

  • Ensure all testing activities align with automotive industry standards

  • Prepare testing-related documentation including PPAP and technical reports

Ideally, you will bring:

  • Experience in product validation or test engineering within the Automotive OEM or Aftermarket sector

  • Solid understanding of electronic testing methods and diagnostic tools

  • Knowledge of automotive development and testing processes

  • Familiarity with embedded software/firmware (C/C ) and electronic systems

  • Experience with test documentation and compliance standards

  • Knowledge of TeamCenter, GD&T, and Tool Design is advantageous

About You:

  • Qualification in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering or related technical field

  • Minimum 3–5 years' experience in testing program management, electronics validation or a related field for integrated products

  • Hands-on experience in developing and delivering compliance-based product testing, simulation, and fault diagnosis

  • Strong analytical and documentation skills
