New Acland Coal (NAC) is a coal site in the Toowoomba surrounding region. Enaex will be contracted to supply a Total Loading Service, as well as supply of blasting accessories

About the roles

We are seeking experienced Bench Hands / Blast Crew to play a key role in the establishment and long-term success of our new contract. 

Core accountabilities include: 

- Carry out loading explosives and priming of blast holes

- Dipping of blast holes and recording of information accurately

- Delineation of active blast loading areas

- Safe and efficient operation of duties

- Carry out pre-starts on equipment

About you

• Experience working in the drill & blast industry
• Unwavering commitment to safety and efficiency
• Ability to work well within a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

What you need

• Current open C class drivers licence (HR licence desirable)
• QLD Security Clearance for handling explosives (or willing to obtain)
• Current QLD Coal Board Medical (or willing to obtain)
• Standard 11 (or willing to obtain)
• National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)

As this is a residential role, you will need to be located within a 60-minute drive of the New Acland Coal mine site.
