Paralegal (Regulatory Affairs Investigations) – Multiple Positions

Who are we looking for?
We're working with one of our longstanding clients, a prominent global technology giant and providing them with a managed team of full-time paralegals at varied levels to help coordinate internal investigations globally.
This assignment will see you supporting our clients Regulatory Affairs Investigations team, adopting a hybrid working arrangement (3 days in LOD's Sydney CBD office, 2 days from home). This is an initial 12 month assignment, commencing in January 2026.
What work will this assignment entail?
No day will be the same, but working in LOD's managed legal team will see you involved in:
Case Management & Intake
- Case creation, logging, document intake, call handling, categorization, routing, and acknowledgment communications.
- Checklist completion, deadline scheduling, and maintaining accurate records.
Evidence Collection & Document Review
- Collect and organize evidence, send follow-up requests, and manage legal holds and releases.
- Review and analyse documents and data for relevance, applying search terms and filters, and coding/categorization decisions.
- Support discovery requests and regulatory responses.
Interview Coordination
- Schedule interviews, manage logistics, prepare transcripts, and take notes.
- Coordinate participants and maintain accurate records.
Investigations
- Conduct or support investigations from intake through close-out, including assessment, interviews, evidence review, and findings.
- Handle low-risk matters independently; assist with higher-risk or complex cases in partnership with senior team members or legal counsel.
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare reports, executive summaries, and presentations.
- Monitor compliance activities, distribute reminders, track actions, and generate recurring reports.
Cross-Functional & Administrative Support
- Maintain templates, knowledge bases, and rosters.
- Coordinate meetings, manage tooling access, track certifications, and assist with training logistics.
- Support surge staffing for investigations and resolve low-risk concerns.

Other experience of interest includes:
- Anywhere from a minimum of 1 to 5 years of experience as a paralegal ideally in litigation/regulatory/compliance, legal operations, or complex operations in a corporate/professional services environment
- Strong administrative skills
- Ability to follow playbooks, and spot improvements where relevant
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to engage with stakeholders and willingness to problem solve collaboratively
