About the roleAre you ready to make a real difference in the lives of individuals and families impacted by domestic and family violence? The Domestic Violence Action Centre is looking for a passionate, driven, and experienced professional to join our dedicated team. This is a powerful opportunity to be at the heart of meaningful change in your local community.
As an Integrated Service Response Worker (ISRW), you will play a vital role in developing strong partnerships and driving community-led initiatives with external stakeholders to enhance domestic, family, and sexual violence prevention efforts across the Greater Toowoomba region.
What you'll be doing- Lead and coordinate community awareness campaigns such as Domestic & Family Violence Prevention Month and 16 Days of Activism
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with local services and community partner's
- Develop and maintain accommodation/housing service delivery relationships and partnerships to improve outcomes for clients.
- Deliver presentations and training to service providers and organisations on best practices for identifying and responding to domestic and family violence
- Organise and facilitate quarterly Practice Forums and monthly training sessions for DVAC staff
- Assist in fundraising and donations coordination to support client services
- Conduct focus groups and consultations to strengthen service responses
- Passionate Advocate – You are deeply committed to addressing domestic, family, and sexual violence, fostering safety, respect, and hope in the community.

- Hold a relevant tertiary qualification or bring a minimum of two years' experience in a similar role, demonstrating the skills and insight needed to thrive in this position.
- Experience working in the domestic and family violence sector
- Strong community engagement and training facilitation skills
- A deep understanding of feminist frameworks, trauma-informed practice and complex dynamics of domestic and family violence
- Excellent public speaking and advocacy skills
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
- Working with Children Check {Blue Card}
- Driver's License
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients
