Gridcom Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and qualified Carpenter in Narangba, Queensland.

We are a national leader in delivering telecommunications and infrastructure solutions across Australia.

As our projects grow, so does our need for skilled professionals – and right now, we're looking for an experienced and qualified Carpenter to support the construction and installation aspects of our infrastructure operations.

We need a hands-on expert who can deliver high-quality carpentry with a strong understanding of construction principles in a technically driven environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

As a Carpenter at Gridcom, your role will involve;

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine job requirements.

• Measuring, cutting, and assembling timber and other materials for framing, flooring, and custom builds.

• Constructing formwork, equipment platforms, access structures, and fit outs for site enclosures.

• Installing prefabricated framework and infrastructure components to support telecom equipment.

• Repairing and maintaining temporary and permanent structures at job sites.

• Working with hand and power tools to shape and join materials with precision.

• Coordinating with site supervisors, project managers, and technical staff to ensure carpentry integrates with electrical and telecom system needs.

• Adhering to WHS standards and maintaining a safe and clean worksite at all times.

Requirements Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent A minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial or infrastructure-related carpentry. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Comfortable working in varied outdoor site conditions. White Card and current driver's licence.

Working at Heights Certification EWP High Risk Licence Experience in telecommunications or civil infrastructure is a bonus

This is a full-time permanent position, based on a 38-hour working week. A competitive remuneration package of $70,000 to $85,000 will be negotiated, taking into account skills and experience. You will be working with a fast-paced and friendly dedicated team to deliver above our client's expectations in locations all over Australia.
