Stessl & Horizon Aluminium Boats is a long-established, family-owned manufacturer based in Coomera. We're proud of our strong reputation for quality craftsmanship and innovation in the marine industry.
Due to continued growth and expansion into our new, purpose-built factory, we're looking for motivated individuals with experience in boat sanding and paint preparation to join our team.
About the Role
You'll be part of a skilled team preparing aluminium boats for painting and finishing.
Daily tasks include:
- Grinding, sanding, and drilling
- Applying and working with fillers
- Masking and preparing boats for paint
- Ensuring high attention to detail in all preparation work
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in line with WHS standards
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential — full in-house training will be provided.
About You
- Experience with hand and power tools
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Good attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks
What We Offer
- Immediate start available
Permanent full-time hours:
Monday – Thursday: 6:00am to 2:30pm
- Friday: 6:00am to 12:30pm
- Overtime available and may be required
