QScan is proud to announce we are offering Ultrasound Training in:

  • Brisbane North, Brisbane South, South East NSW, Rural Queensland and Rural NSW

As a Trainee Sonographer you will be guided and mentored by our experienced team members who have a demonstrated interest in supporting the development and training of new sonographers. You will be provided with relevant upskilling to assist in your learning and ability to become responsible for performing high quality ultrasound examinations and procedures.

Responsibilities Will Include

  • Demonstrating consistent skill development and be able to independently conduct ultrasound procedures
  • Capturing images of high quality and sufficient scope in examinations to provide diagnostic information relevant to clinical needs
  • Maintaining professional levels of patient care, customer service, confidentiality, and moral/ethical codes
  • Strive to provide efficient and timely patient examinations while maintaining high quality imaging

Qualifications / Essential Criteria

  • Undergraduate Degree in applied science/ health field
  • 2 years post graduate experience
  • Prior to commencement in this role you will need to confirm enrolment in suitable post graduate course
  • ASAR student registration and suitable indemnity insurance cover (ASA recommended)
  • * Please note: For rural NSW and Queensland roles, team members must be practicing Radiographers*
