We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled General Practitioner to join a committed primary healthcare team on a full-time basis. This position is open to candidates who hold a specialist overseas qualification recognised by the RACGP or ACRRM.

As a General Practitioner In Kingaroy you will be responsible for providing high-quality primary healthcare services to our patients. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive and holistic care to our diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conducting consultations and physical examinations to diagnose and treat patients

- Prescribing medications and providing appropriate medical advice

- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests

- Developing and implementing treatment plans for patients

- Referring patients to specialists when necessary

- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records

- Participating in team meetings and case discussions

- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care

- Staying updated on the latest medical developments and guidelines

- Educating patients on preventive healthcare measures and promoting healthy lifestyle choices

- Adhering to ethical and professional standards of practice

Requirements:

- Medical degree from an accredited institution and a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience

- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or the ability to gain it

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to healthcare

- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning

- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
