About the Position

An opportunity for a fantastic Practice Nurse (Registered Nurse preferred) has become available at Mt Barker South Medical Centre. To fit to your lifestyle, the team are open to this role as a Part Time or Casual position, with 3-4 days per week available.

Our clinic is open Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm, with no weekends or shiftwork required

The 6 GPs practicing at our clinic pride themselves on the quality care and personal approach they provide to their patients because the health and well-being of patients is – and always has been their greatest priority.

The Practice Nurse will:

  • Be willing to learn and work as a team to provide culturally appropriate assessments, therapeutic and education services for clients with chronic disease as required
  • Participate in Quality Improvement Activities
  • Adhere to relevant professional Code of Ethics guidelines
  • A willingness to implement and adapt to change when required to benefit patients, staff, and the wider group

About You

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Flexibility and willingness to work a range of shifts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer literacy
