About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Property Manager to join the team at LJ Hooker Fairfield. As the Senior Property Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring exceptional customer service and maximising returns for our clients. This is a full-time role based in our Fairfield Heights office.

What you'll be doing

  • Overseeing the day-to-day management of a portfolio of residential properties, including coordinating inspections, managing maintenance and repairs, and addressing tenant concerns
  • Developing and implementing effective marketing strategies to attract and retain quality tenants
  • Conducting regular property inspections and providing detailed reports to landlords
  • Negotiating lease renewals and rent reviews to maximise returns for landlords
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant residential tenancy legislation and regulations
  • Providing exceptional customer service to both landlords and tenants
  • Supervising and mentoring a team of property management professionals

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior property management role, preferably within the residential real estate industry
  • Thorough understanding of residential tenancy legislation and regulations
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and tenants
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask
  • Proficient in using property management software and technology
  • A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and achieving excellent results for our clients
