HUA is a vibrant Cantonese-inspired restaurant located on The Terrace, Level 4 at The Star Brisbane in the Queen's Wharf precinct.

The Opportunity

We're seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Attendant to join the team at HUA Brisbane. This is a part-time role with a minimum of 20 hours per week and an immediate start. You'll play an important role in supporting our kitchen operations, ensuring a clean, safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist chefs with basic food preparation and plating as required
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness in line with HACCP and food safety standards
  • Wash, sanitise, and store dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
  • Handle deliveries, unpack stock, and rotate supplies to minimise wastage
  • Support the wider kitchen team during service to ensure smooth operations

  • Understanding of basic food safety and hygiene practices
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn
  • Strong teamwork skills and attention to detail
