Our client, a pioneering financial institution requires a self-motivated, ambitious finance professional to join their Product Control team

In this broad and exciting role, your responsibilities will include:   

· Lead the daily and monthly P&L reporting and reconciliation for Commodities & Carbon desks.

· Partner with trading desks, finance, and risk teams to investigate and resolve trade, position, and cash exceptions.

· Drive system and process enhancements to improve reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.

· Provide strategic input into new product initiatives, including carbon markets and electricity expansion.

· Manage audit walkthroughs and support governance forums such as NFRC and PC forums

· Ensure compliance with internal control frameworks and contribute to non-financial risk reporting

To be considered, you must be able to demonstrate:

·  5+ years in Product Control or a closely related field, ideally at Senior Manager level

· Strong understanding of traded market risk products, including complex derivatives.

· Proven leadership experience with inclusive and outcome-driven style.

· Demonstrated success in delivering systems/process uplift and automation, VBA, SQL, Tableau Prep, PowerBI, Alteryx

or other analytical and automation tools

· Deep knowledge of risk management and internal control frameworks.
