Guest Service Supervisor

About the Role

We are seeking a Guest Service Supervisor to join the team at Kurrajong Hotel in Erskineville. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating memorable guest experiences, leading by example, and working in a dynamic environment where every day is different.

You will take part in both front desk operations and team supervision, ensuring the smooth coordination of accommodation services while maintaining high service standards. The position is based on the restaurant side of the property, with a primary focus on accommodation and occasional support for the restaurant team during quieter or busier periods.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage front desk operations, including reservations, check-ins and check-outs, billing, and guest requests
• Supervise and support Guest Service Agents to deliver consistently high service standards
• Handle guest issues, relocations, and service recovery with confidence and professionalism
• Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and F&B teams to ensure smooth daily operations
• Maintain accuracy across MEWS PMS and POS systems, including reconciliations and reports
• Contribute to team training and development to build skills and confidence
• Assist the restaurant team when required, keeping accommodation as the main focus
• Demonstrate flexibility with shift patterns, including availability for evening shifts, weekends, standard business hours, and public holidays

What You Will Bring

• Proven experience in hotel front office or guest services
• Previous supervisory or team leader experience within hospitality
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Calm, reliable, and hands-on approach to work
• Confidence in using hotel systems, particularly MEWS PMS and POS platforms
• A genuine passion for hospitality and leading others
• Must have current Australian work authorisation rights
