We're looking for a motivated and reliable Steel Yard Co-Ordinator to join our growing team. This is a hands-on, full-time role in a busy yard and workshop environment where no two days are the same.


About the Role

As our Steel Yard Co-Ordinator, you'll play an essential part in keeping daily operations running smoothly. From managing stock and serving customers to cutting steel and loading trucks, you'll be at the heart of the action.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service to walk-in customers with steel orders
  • Receive and process incoming stock and materials
  • Pick, fill, pack, and ship orders accurately
  • Cut steel to size safely and precisely
  • Demonstrate competence with various steel cutting methods and equipment
  • Load and unload trucks and utes
  • Manage, organise, and retrieve stock in the yard and warehouse
  • Carry out local deliveries
  • Maintain a safe, tidy, and efficient yard and workshop
  • Work closely with the office and workshop teams to ensure smooth operations

Must Have:
  • White Card
  • Forklift Licence
  • Current NT Driver's Licence
  • Valid Australian work authorisation

Desirable:
  • MR Driver's Licence
  • Welding experience
