About the Role:

As a contractor, you'll work across various high-quality flooring projects. This includes:

  • Installation of solid timber, floating, and engineered flooring
  • Experience in all three flooring types (solid timber, floating, and engineered) is required
  • Sanding and finishing
  • Troubleshooting on-site challenges with a practical, can-do attitude
  • Interacting professionally with clients in both residential homes and construction sites
  • Collaborating with a small team and maintaining team harmony
  • Working consistently to meet deadlines and quality expectations
  • Ensuring all worksites adhere to WHS regulations
  • ABN registration can be obtained after hiring if not already held.

We're Looking For:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in floor installation and sanding
  • A strong understanding of coating systems and finishing techniques
  • A professional, customer-focused attitude
  • Ability to lead or support a team with clear communication
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and an eye for detail
  • Relevant certifications – White Card is a must. First Aid, Confined Space ticket, and other WHS tickets are highly desirable
  • Valid driver's licence
  • A proactive, reliable, and solution-focused approach to your work
  • Valid Australian work rights are required
