About the role

Qwixi is seeking a Storeman to join our warehouse team in Ingleburn, NSW. This is a casual position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work outside the 9 to 5.

What you'll be doing

  • Ensuring the efficient and accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods and materials
  • Maintaining a safe and organised warehouse environment including keeping the site clean and rubbish free
  • Performing stock takes and inventory management tasks
  • Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Assisting with the loading and unloading of delivery trucks
  • Providing excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Managing a small team of picker packers and delivery driver to ensure stock is delivered accurately, without damage and on time.
  • Pick and drop off of raw materials, finished goods and packaging as required

What we're looking for

  • Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced warehouse role within a food based company
  • Forklift licence or willingness to get one and experience operating warehouse equipment like pallet jacks
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately, efficiently and independently
  • Be the main point of contact for all tasks and responsibilities pertaining to the warehousing of goods
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Willingness to work in a team and contribute to a positive work culture
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to food safety protocols
  • Ability to manage a small team of picker packers and delivery driver including stepping into those roles when necessary
  • Ideally lives within close proximity to Ingleburn
  • Drivers licence essential
