Orthodontic Receptionist

About the Role:

As our new Treatment Coordinator, you'll be the first point of contact for new patients and the key guide on their journey to a better smile. You'll work closely with the orthodontist and clinical team to ensure a seamless and informative experience for every patient.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and support new patients during their initial consultation
• Assisting the orthodontist with new and existing patient consultations
• Coordinate and support the daily duties of the providers and work closely with our team
• Present treatment plans and explain options clearly and confidently
• Discuss financials, payment plans, and insurance options
• Coordinate diagnostic records and treatment start appointments
• Follow up with prospective patients and maintain communication
• Keep accurate records and assist with patient retention efforts

What We're Looking For:

• A warm, professional communicator with a passion for patient care
• Previous experience in a dental or orthodontic setting is preferred
• Sales or customer service background is highly valued
• Organised, self-motivated, and comfortable discussing financial information
• Knowledge of dental software (e.g. Dolphin, Cloud 9, etc.) is an advantage but not required
• A vibrant personality, lots of empathy and a patient-focused approach
