A Role That Takes You Outdoors

As a First Aid Responder with RFDS Victoria, your workplace is wherever the community gathers. From buzzing festivals and high-energy sporting events to local celebrations under open skies, you'll be right there.

We offer a Level 3 casual rate of $30.64 per hour, plus casual loading, penalty rates, and superannuation-with flexible shifts that fit your lifestyle. You'll be part of a supportive team that values professionalism, safety, and community spirit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver first aid confidently and professionally
  • Communicate effectively with patients, event staff, and emergency services
  • Escalate care appropriately when patients are out of scope
  • Maintain equipment and adhere to safety protocols
  • Participate in ongoing training and competency updates

Required Qualifications:

Responder Level 3

  • Certificate IV in Health Care (HLT41120)
  • Diploma of Emergency Health Care (HLT51020)
  • Diploma of Nursing (HLT54121) or equivalent

Additional Essential Eligibility Criteria:

  • Full Victorian Driver's License
  • Available to commence on 14th October 2025
  • Available to attend a 2-day induction in Essendon.
  • Evidence of mandatory vaccinations:
  • Proof of X Hep B vaccines and positive serology
  • Proof of Measles, Mumps and Rubella vaccines
  • Proof of 2 Varicella vaccines or positive serology
  • Proof of 2025 Influenza vaccine
  • Proof of a DTP vaccine in the past X years
  • National Police Check & Employee Working with Children Check
  • Legal right to work in Australia
