Medical Receptionist – 2+ Years Experience Required

What We're Looking For:

  • 2+ years of experience as a medical receptionist (experience in a specialist or GP setting is a plus)
  • MUST have Experience with medical booking softwares (Best Practice & Cliniko)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A warm, caring, and professional personality
  • High attention to detail, organisation, and multitasking
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Permanent residency in Australia (visa sponsorship not available)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greeting patients and handling incoming calls professionally
  • Managing appointments, referrals, and billing using medical software
  • Handling patient inquiries via phone and email
  • Processing patient payments and Medicare rebates
  • Assisting with administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Supporting doctors and clinical staff with patient coordination

  • A proactive problem solver who takes initiative
  • Able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Friendly and welcoming
  • Customer Facing experience
  • A quick learner with the ability to absorb new information
  • Previous medical reception experience is ideal, but candidates with strong high-end customer service backgrounds will also be considered
