Tailings / Civil / Geotechnical Engineer

We are looking for a talented Tailings / Civil / Geotechnical Engineer with 3-6 years of industry experience to join our dynamic Brisbane team. This role offers a unique opportunity to enhance your consulting expertise within a technically proficient environment, where innovation and idea development are encouraged.

The Role:

You will be joining a team that provides consulting services to mining industry incorporating studies and technical reporting across a wide range of commodities and projects, both in the office and on-site. You will have the opportunity to provide design input, participate in a variety of technically interesting projects, and contribute to innovate problem solving. In this hands-on role, you will work alongside and receive support by Senior Consultants to deliver high quality technical work for various clients, helping you develop your technical skills and expand your professional network.

Our successful candidate will have:

  • Minimum of a bachelors degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
  • Fieldwork experience including drilling supervision, geotechnical logging and sampling.
  • Experience in completing engineering analyses such as slope stability and seepage modelling.
  • Experience in overseeing civil and earthworks construction.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • A strong desire to grow and develop your technical skills in a diverse team.
  • Enthusiasm for opportunities for travel and site visits.
  • Excellent communication skills, including report writing and presentation skills, and language fluency in English as you will be expected to prepare and contribute to high quality technical deliverables including proposals, reports and construction documentation.
  • Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or a current Visa with working rights
