Role details

The Division of Patient Flow and Access Services at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Clinical Nurse Consultant (Project) to join their team on a temporary basis.

Your opportunity

The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) - Project is to provide project management for 'End PJ Paralysis' and 'Criteria Led Discharge' for 12 months in consultation with Project sponsor – Executive Director Operations Mackay. Both projects will use Kotter's Change Model and are aimed to improve patient flow and patient outcomes.

The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) – Project will work collaboratively with key stakeholder, including clinicians, administration officers, clinical and service leads, to plan, implement and evaluate 'End PJ Paralysis' and 'Criteria Led Discharge' projects, ensuring the projects continue to align with Mackay Hospital and Health Service goals.
