About the Stores Team:

The QIMRB Stores are a small team within the Properties and Facilities Department. The team provides support to 600 scientists, students, non-research staff & tenants

Role Purpose / Responsibilities:

Applications are invited for the position of Stores Officer – Freight & Logistics

To be successful in the position you will have the following skills/experience but not limited to:

• Demonstrate reconciliation and problem-solving skills in relation to receipt of freight deliveries and inventory.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a small team.
• Experience in providing customer service support and issue inventory stock to our customers.

About you:

You will need:

• Minimum of 1 year working experience in a warehousing and freight services role
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to demonstrate tact, discretion and respect
• Demonstrated reconciliation and problem-solving skills involving receipt of freight deliveries and inventory
• Good computer skills and experience using inventory management systems.
• High level of customer service orientated focus
• Good understanding of OH&S issues involved in stores and receiving areas
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team or autonomously

Remuneration: Salary range is $65,833 to $70,411 plus super and generous salary packaging. This is a full-time, permanent appointment.
