Job Description
Rail Signaling Design Engineer
Job Description & Skill Requirement:
- 4 -7 years exp in Railway signalling
- Assist in the preparation of preliminary and detailed designs of signalling systems that comply with statutory and regulatory requirements
- Prepare documentation of requirements and specifications in relation to signalling systems
- Assist in factory acceptance testing and/or site testing of signalling systems and equipment
- Participate in the commissioning of signalling systems
- Report on design as required
- Carry out design and design production checks on signalling design
- Provide functional support and guidance to the Assistant Design Engineer(s) within the team on all aspects of Signal design and documents within allocated projects.
- Preparation of technical details, specifications and tenders for Signalling projects.
- Ensure technical and safety standards are maintained in all aspects of Signalling system work as instructed.
- Assist in factory acceptance testing and/or site testing of signalling systems and equipment
- Participate in the commissioning of signalling systems;
- Report on design as required
