About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Bartender to join our talented team at The Woodhouse Bar & Grill in Bendigo, VIC. This is a part-time or casual role, offering the opportunity to work in a vibrant and fast-paced environment where you can showcase your passion for hospitality and exceptional customer service.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and serving a wide range of creative cocktails, beers, wines and non-alcoholic beverages to our customers

  • Ensuring the bar area is well-stocked, clean and organised at all times

  • Providing attentive and personalized service to all customers, anticipating their needs and exceeding their expectation

  • Taking customers orders both food and drink

  • Assisting with stock control and inventory management

  • Promoting the restaurant's food and drink offerings to customers

  • Adhering to all relevant health, safety and licensing regulations

What we're looking for

  • At least 1 year experience working as a Bartender in a busy, high-volume restaurant or bar environment

  • A thorough knowledge of a wide range of cocktails, spirits, wines and beers

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • The ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

  • A passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing an exceptional customer experience

  • A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification

  • 15 hours plus a week
