Shift Schedule: 3:00PM-11:00PM / 4:00PM - 12:00AM

About us

Coastal Fresh is a family-owned and operated business of 30 years, located in the beautiful Gold Coast suburb of Burleigh Heads.

We supply whole and processed fresh fruit and vegetables to the food industry of Southeast Queensland and Northern New South Wales.

Due to the expansion of our ever-growing business, we have multiple picking and packing roles available for immediate start. This position is a casual afternoon/night role with a rotating weekly roster.

Duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Using the ordering system to keep data accurate and up-to-date
  • Carefully picking and packing fresh produce to the highest standards
  • Meeting deadlines and working efficiently under timeframes
  • Taking part in regular stocktakes to keep inventory on track
  • Working in a cool environment for a long period of time
  • Keeping your workspace clean, safe, and well-organised
  • Standing for a long period of time and handling heavy lifting when required

To be successful in the role you will need to demonstrate:

  • Previous picking, packing, and warehouse experience - this is a MUST
  • Strong knowledge of fruit, vegetables, herbs, and micro herbs (highly regarded)
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 20kg
  • Experience working in cold or refrigerated warehouse environments
  • Certificate in Warehousing (highly regarded but not essential)
  • Knowledge of WH&S practices and compliance
  • Comfortable using digital ordering systems and other computer-based platforms
  • Strong time management with clear and effective communication
  • Punctual, dependable, and team-oriented
  • Sharp attention to detail with plenty of common sense
