Drafter –Engineering (Permanent Part Time)

We are seeking a Draftsperson with a structural background to join us for 3 days per week in our Sydney based office.

This role would suit someone who has lots of initiative, a positive attitude and enjoys working in a hardworking and friendly team

Landlay is a leading remedial building company specialising in structural repairs, façade restoration, waterproofing and concrete remediation. With a strong reputation for quality and professionalism, we work closely with engineers, strata managers and building owners to deliver high-quality remedial solutions across Sydney.

The Role

You will work closely with our engineers and project managers to produce accurate and detailed drawings for remedial projects, including façades, structural repairs and building rectification works.

This role requires you to work in person at our Sydney office during normal business hours. We are not able to consider remote applicants for this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed 2D documentation for remedial and structural projects.
  • Convert engineer mark-ups and site sketches into accurate CAD drawings.
  • Assist with design coordination between engineers, builders, and consultants.
  • Maintain drawing standards and project documentation.
  • Conduct site visits when required to gather measurements or verify details.

About You

  • Qualification in Drafting, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years' experience in structural or remedial drafting.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good understanding of structural elements and construction processes.
  • Excellent level of English written and verbal communication skills.
  • A collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency is mandatory for this position.
