Join a Growing Regional IT Team
Universal Computer Solutions (UCS) is looking for a motivated and experienced Service Desk Engineer to join our Geelong-based team. You'll work with a wide range of clients and technologies, helping deliver real outcomes while being part of a supportive environment that values initiative, teamwork, and professional growth.
In this role, you'll provide day-to-day technical support, resolve incidents, and ensure every client receives fast, professional, and friendly service.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll play an important role within our Service Desk, supporting users across Microsoft 365, Windows, and network environments.
Your work will include:
• Providing Level 2 technical support across desktops, servers, and cloud systems.
• Managing requests and incidents received via phone, email, and the service portal.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly, escalating when required.
• Maintaining clear and accurate documentation of all work completed.
Technical Requirements
• Experience with Windows desktop suite, Microsoft Office, and desktop hardware.
• Desirable: familiarity with service management tools, networking (WAN, VPN, firewalls, TCP/IP), and Microsoft 365 administration.
What We're Looking For
• Minimum 3 years' experience in IT support, service desk, or a managed service provider environment.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and environments.
• Confident troubleshooting and ownership of tasks through to completion.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong customer-first approach.
Essential Requirements
• Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
• A valid driver's licence.
It's a bonus if you have:
• Experience with IT management or monitoring platforms, telephony systems, or network technologies.
• Certifications such as Microsoft or ITIL.
