With both in-store and fully equipped mobile service vans, we proudly service the automotive industry and domestic customers alike.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to join our Kilsyth-based team. This is a hands-on role leading day-to-day installation and mobile operations while also supervising and training staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out installations of tow bars, brake controllers, and vehicle power systems
  • Oversee daily operations of a mobile service van
  • Manage and mentor team members
  • Liaise with clients and provide outstanding customer service
  • Schedule and manage jobs effectively
  • Conduct stocktakes and maintain tools and equipment
  • Process customer payments
  • Support fabrication and welding tasks (experience highly regarded)
  • Ensure quality standards and uphold the Fivestar Towbars reputation
About You

We're looking for someone with a strong work ethic, great attention to detail, and proven automotive industry experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience fitting vehicle accessories (tow bars, brake controllers, power systems)
  • Full, current Australian driver's licence (essential)
  • Physically capable of lifting and manoeuvring up to 25kg
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and wiring schematics
  • Experience using electronic diagnostic tools
