Your Role & ResponsibilitiesAs a Technician/Mechanic, you will:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, including engines, transmissions, and suspension systems
- Conduct servicing and warranty repairs in line with company policies and manufacturer guidelines
- Test drive and perform final quality checks before returning vehicles to customers
- Provide expert advice on vehicle condition and required repairs
- Accurately report work performed and maintain records in internal systems
- Order necessary parts for warranty and repair work
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dealer product range and mechanical advancements
What We're Looking For
- Full Qualifications as a Technician/Mechanic
- Significant industry experience
- Strong diagnostic skills with a well-developed knowledge of the automotive industry
- Roadworthy experience - roadworthy license is highly advantageous
- Ability to provide training to technicians and apprentices
- Ability to work productively in an autonomous environment, and are highly motivated
- Ability to manage time effectively, multi-task where required, punctual and reliable
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role
- Reliable and dependable, with a strong work ethic
- Availability to work some Saturdays
