Information Security Operations Manager

Cyber threats evolve by the minute. We need someone who moves faster.

As our Information Security Operations Manager, you'll be at the front line — leading a high-performing security operations capability that protects our organisation's people, assets, and reputation.

This is more than managing systems. It's about anticipating risks, neutralising threats before they surface, and building a culture where security is instinctive. You'll lead a skilled team of analysts, harness external intelligence, and coordinate rapid responses to incidents that matter.

Your mission:

  • Own the direction and performance of our Security Operations Centre (SOC)
  • Manage and optimise our relationship with the Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP)
  • Design and maintain a best-in-class Incident Response Framework
  • Lead high-stakes investigations and internal response efforts
  • Drive proactive threat intelligence gathering and mitigation strategies
  • Oversee penetration testing, red teaming, and security exercises to keep us prepared
  • Partner with leaders across the organisation to embed security into every decision

What you bring:

  • 7+ years in information security, with 5+ years leading incident response at enterprise scale
  • Proven experience running SOC operations and MSSP relationships
  • Expertise in ISO27001, NIST, and security best practice frameworks
  • The ability to turn complex security concepts into actionable strategies for senior leaders
  • A leader's mindset: decisive, strategic, and able to inspire confidence

Bonus points for:

  • CISSP, GIAC or equivalent certifications
  • Experience with Microsoft Enterprise Mobility and Security tools
  • Automation expertise with SIEM platforms such as Splunk, LogRhythm, or Exabeam
