Coco L Construction has been working within the construction industry since 2015, over the years we have been involved in a variety of projects including shopping centres, airports, schools, aged care centres, early learning centres, hospitals, high rise apartments and townhouse in both public and private sector cross QLD and NSW.
Now we are looking for a Civil Engineering Techinician
Your Key Responsibilities
- Assist engineers and project managers in planning, designing and delivering civil construction projects
- Prepare and review technical drawings, drafting, plans and specifications using CAD and other software
- Conduct on-site measurements, inspections, testing, and data collection to support construction progress
- Assist in cost estimation, material calculation, and quantity take-offs
- Support quality assurance, safety compliance, and project documentation
- Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project workflow
- Provide technical support during project development, construction, and completion stages
What We're Looking For
Bachelor in Civil Engineering / Engineering Technology (or equivalent)
Knowledge of Australian construction standards, codes, and WHS requirements
Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar drafting software
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and reporting skills
Previous experience in civil construction (highly regarded, but not essential for the right candidate)
Minimum 3-5 years of civil technician experience required
Bachelor degree qualification required
