Mixed role as Dental Receptionist & Dental Assistant

About the Role

Maxicare Dental is offering a casual position for a mixed role of Dental Receptionist and Dental Assistant. Starting as soon as possible, 4 days a week, with a regular roster. For the right candidate, it is a long term and stable position.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Usual Reception duties including phone calls, booking, patients management, billing, emails, etc.
• Customer service and patient care
• Recall system management
• Help Principal Dentist to solve admin daily issues and managing the practice
• Usual Dental Assistant duties including preparation of dental chair, dental materials and treatment area, assisting clinicians during dental procedures, operation of the suction unit, etc.
• Recording treatment procedures information in patient records
• Sterilization duties according to Infection control protocols
• Lab work management

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience as both Dental Receptionist and Dental Assistant are essential
• Exceptional communication skills, manners and presentation
• Attention to detail, adaptability and initiative
• Excellent computer skills
• Able to multitask
• Able to work as part of a team
