Key Responsibilities

Working within a small team you will be involved in all aspects of aluminium window and door fabrication including handling all materials, cutting, punching, machining and assembly. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Operating both hand and power tools.
• Operating pneumatic punch tools, industrial saws, copy routers, etc.
• Interpreting fabrication reports, technical manuals and cutting lists.
• Cutting and handling of aluminium extrusions.
• Assembling of aluminium windows and doors.
• Installing hardware and fitting sashes.
• Coordinating inbound material deliveries and outbound window deliveries.

Skills and experience:

• Experience in the manufacturing of aluminium windows and doors is essential (experience with ALSPEC extrusions desirable)
• Experience in cutting, machining, punching, assembling, and glazing of aluminium windows and doors (desirable but not essential).
• Ability to read, interpret and understand fabrication reports, technical manuals and cutting lists.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Must be well-presented and have excellent communication skills
• Punctuality
• Drivers License
• Forklift license desirable
