Job Description:

We are seeking a Picture Framer to join our team at Fantastic Framing. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for craftsmanship and an eye for detail, ensuring that each framing project meets our high standards of quality and aesthetics.

Responsibilities:

  • Consult with clients to understand their framing needs and preferences
  • Assist clients in selecting appropriate framing materials, styles, and finishes
  • Measure and cut mats and frame components accurately and precisely
  • Assemble frames using various tools and techniques
  • Mount artwork securely within frames, ensuring proper alignment and presentation
  • Deliveries and Hanging Services
  • Inspect finished projects for quality control and make any necessary adjustments
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the framing process

Requirements:

  • Driver's License - preferred
  • Previous experience in picture framing or related field - preferred
  • Proficiency with framing tools and equipment, including mat cutters, saws, and joiners - preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and precision
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • Creative problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of conservation framing techniques is a plus
