Disability Support Worker

Flinders Park, Australia AMC Integrated Disability Services Full time $125,440 - $199,040 per year

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Disability Support Worker to support an NDIS participant with their daily living activities and community access. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing person-centred support and fostering the participant's independence and wellbeing.

Role Details:

  • Provide daily support and companionship
  • Assist with routines, therapies, and safe practices
  • Work casual shifts initially (Mon/Tue/Thur), with the potential for a base roster once therapies are back in place
  • Shifts will generally range between 3–5 hours
  • Training is provided and funded, including epilepsy management plans and Midazolam administration training (to be completed at a future date)

About You:

  • Experience supporting individuals with ABI, TBI, or Epilepsy (preferred)
  • Mature and reliable, ideally age 30+
  • Calm, patient, and able to follow support plans carefully
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid, and relevant clearances (or willingness to obtain)

Availability:

Flexible availability preferred, with potential for weekday and occasional weekend shifts.
